City/State): Hanlee's Hilltop Toyota, Richmond, CA Timeframe given for delivery: Unsure Color: Silver Option Package: #7 Your # on Dealer's Waiting List: #3 for that option Here's my story: When I found out how long the waiting list was likely to be (4-6 months) for a Package #9 blue at my regular dealer i decided to call every dealer in town and see if I could be put on a courtesy call list. 6 allowed me to do this, but some did not. One of the smallest dealers said they didn't get a lot of cars and that I would only be the 3rd person asking for my particular car. At the end of January, they got two cars matching the two people ahead of me and I became #1. Last friday, the dealer I purchased the car from said that they had a cancellation for a sliver #7. We decided to take a look at the care on the lot and then decided that in order to save $3k we'd take it. We originally wanted a blue Package 7 but one of the dealers talked us up to a Package 9. The navigation sounded nice, but we weren't set on it. Our company pool cars are Prius's. We ordered 45 this year to be delivered in April. I heard that we got lucky because they are not accepting any more orders.
