Title. I resembled the oem radio after the failed attempt because the wiring harness I bought for the new radio wasn’t for the jbl audio system my car natively had.

I tried to start my car, and the green light on the park button and the power button don’t light up and doesn’t do anything when pressed. I thought this was due to loose wiring, and might still be due to, idk, because I did tug on the power button harness and the park button harness. I would try more stuff on them but I’m afraid of damage.

The battery works fine because dome lights are bright and car unlocks with the smart key. Ive even unplugged my 12v aux battery for 10 mins, no luck. I’ve checked my fuses, am2, and acc. Though now I dropped my acc fuse and lost it to the car, I have ordered another one anyway. But ultimately, they were both fine. I haven’t checked the relay box or the passenger fuse box. And it’s not on immobilized mode cause I put the smart key in that lil thingy, still nothing.

the car was working the whole day before I did that operation perfectly fine. I do remember seeing the parking button or the power button turn red before it turned off during the attempt of installation. So… any clues?

I’m out of options personally, I’m thinking about calling over a mobile mechanic and having them check it out. But what do y’all think?

I vaguely remember something similar happening to me. I think it has something to do with the Park button or the Start button not hooked up to the car. One didn't let me start the car. The other threw up all the warning lights on the car, which went away after over a day or so.
