Hello, My sunroof is leaking and I went to the dealership to have my sunroof drains cleared. They said that the sunroof doesn't have drains in this model, which makes no sense based on what another mechanic and articles online say about sunroofs not being water tight. Does anyone know where the sunroof drains are on a 2010 Prius or know if there really aren't any? Thanks!
I believe there are some at the corner of the back of the roof square hole or rectangular hole is the case may be but I'm not positive I'd have to go out and put a 12 volt in my solar roof car and put the sunroof up and do all kinds of looking around a good look at the microfish or the schematic of your sunroof will show the lines that usually run down to the rear quarters in my '85 Supra that were front lines that ran down the front A pillars You could squirt water right down the lines and see it pissing right under the rear portion or the trailing edge of your tire looks like somebody was pissing through the front fender edge I think the front drains have been gone for some time in most sunroofs but I think the rears are still there and they can be chased with a long piece of wire or something like that they usually get clogged at the exit point not generally up at the top where the water is entering but it is possible.
