Heard an interesting story on NPR that the Biden initiative with narcon (Naloxone) had reduced overdose deaths by ~23%. Darn shame that did not come out in the 2024 election.

As of now - it's kind of a sorta mixed bag;
Naloxone being studied to treat long COVID-19 chronic fatigue
Like so many other alternate remedies though - it gets poo pooh'ed, due to big corporate pharma.

A President can marshal resources to address problems. A sociopath in Chief has other priorities.

If empiricism worked as advertised, they would have eased President Biden off the ticket and held a primary.
