MY Priors:
Two things can be true at once.
Mahmoud Khalil is a piece of human filth whom I might enjoy being deposited pretty much anywhere in Gaza.
I wish he were not a permanent resident of my country.
HOWEVER (comma!)
He's been granted Permanent Residency Status - just like millions of others, including more than one in my family.....and 19,000 on active service in the military.
SO FAR....
He's only accused of saying 'junk and stuff' and this isn't the Edith Wilson (or DOCTOR!!! Jill Biden) administration.
Free Speech is supposed to be protected by the USC (as amended.)
You KNOW it's really working when it protects an activity that makes people uncomfortable!!

We might not have people who protect freedom of speech and peaceful protests in charge of things in DC forever!
If the pattern holds, then peaceful protests are going to be illegal......again.

I've already stated that I do not agree with the current POTUS on this issue but I see little daylight between this dude and the prior administration excepting for the SPEECH part of FREE speech.
OK.
This dude isn't racked with dementia, and he has fewer mobility issues - especially for such a rotund dude.
There are a LOT of OTHER differences but....elections have consequences.

The current administration sucks a LOT LESS if you're a working parent, have a CAC card, are a primary school teacher, make less than $150,000, go to a church, hold a job that does not require a college degree, are retired, etc....etc...etc...

My only fear over this isn't that some hate-filled anti-Semite might be PNG'd, and if the DNC want to keep punching themselves in the crotch over this, I'm here for it.
However (comma!!!) if green card holders can be deported over political 'mean tweets' then the pubs are not the only ones with a proven track record over-prosecutions, detaining people for 'hate speech,' and other abuses of authority.
