I am having faint chirping noise from driver side window at highway speeds greater than 65 MPH. The chirping noise becomes faster and slightly louder as speed increases. Any ideas?
High pitched? Sort of an intermittent screech? Could be the brake dust shield rubbing against the wheel.
With engine running ? Without engine running in EV? How much above 65 mph, not saying you should check this if not comfortable with it, does it stop at 80 or 84 mph in EV (without engine running) or with engine running. Just a couple of Gen 4 Prime related programming thresholds I'd check if I was hearing a weird noise only at hwy speeds.
This new post reminded me of another possibility of loose underpanel(s) and missing pins. I had the issue once at hwy speed nearer the end of a 400 mile trip that was loud enough to scared me, thinking it was something more serious than it a few missing pins on the passenger side front fender liner. Found a loose panel this morning - was something stolen? | PriusChat
