Look up this "Toyota Rav4 MK5 XA50" on Aliexpress. Costs 5.96 for me in California.

For me it's the first one there. but make sure you get the one that will actually fit into your plug.

Pop out your old one and pop this in.

Really bright. You can use a switch to turn it off if you don't like it.

Why do the cheap ones all have switches?! Last thing I need is something in the back to accidentally hit the switch while driving at night, causing glare and disrupting my night vision on a road I can't pull over on.

The lamp assembly part number is 81330-11010. Apparently it was first used in 2017 in Japanese Toyota taxi models. So that's why it seems dated.

Compiling fitment from several dealer-owned part sites, it's also used in the following models:
    • Toyota
      • Crown: 2023 – 2025
      • GR Corolla: 2023 – 2025
      • Sequoia: 2023 – 2025
      • Mirai: 2021 – 2024
      • bZ4X (Limited, XLE): 2023 – 2025
      • Prius (LE, Limited, XLE, AWD-e, Prime): 2023 – 2024
      • Venza (LE, Limited, XLE, Nightshade): 2021 – 2024
    • Lexus
      • UX300h: 2025
      • UX250h: 2021 – 2024
      • LS500: 2018 – 2023
      • LS500h: 2018 – 2023
      • UX200: 2019 – 2022
      • ES250: 2021
      • ES300h: 2019 – 2021
      • ES350: 2019 – 2021
    • Subaru
      • Solterra (Limited, Premium, Touring): 2022 – 2025
This info might be helpful for finding aftermarket ones without a switch, but so far I haven't been successful. I am leaning towards DIYing one by adding SMD LEDs to the OEM part (an extra one I'll buy).

Alternatively, since the position of the light is not ideal and will probably be blocked by cargo 50% of the time, I might actually just delete/cap the light and run wires to the headliner area for a top-down flood light.

That Japanese auction seems to have expired and I can't find it anymore. Does anyone have a current link for this please?

EDIT: Found one on US ebay site and ordered. I will report back if it works.
