Overtorqued one of my bolts (the auto hobby shop on the military base has untrustworthy torque wrenches) and snapped it; does anyone know the part number for this bolt or what it's called? Photo attached with bolt circled in yellow. I'm also happy to pay someone for one if they have a spare. Thanks!
Hold on let me go look there should be a million of them on the floor and if you have a tractor supply near you that have metric bolts equal to that or better whatever you want to call it and somebody will need to send an address or something My email is my name here at Gmail so shoot me an email and it would go out Monday morning no charge I don't give a crap about all that
That would be lovely so long as it's the exact bolt! Would hate to have you go through all the trouble and then we find out it's too short!
Buddy I do this several times a week so this is the bolt that holds the hub bearing in place where your drive axle goes through in your caliper bolts up but this is one of the four bolts that holds the bearing in the big aluminum hub got it they're usually gray.
Well mine are great You live somewhere in the rust belt It looks like anyway shoot me an email send me your address whatever it is the post office and what not is literally two and a half minutes from my house
I'm thinking those are the hold-down bolts for the bearing/hub assembly? Torque on those is 41 ft/lb: Might be this: part no: 90105-10469 overview: Front axle hub for Toyota Prius NHW20L - Genuine parts - Amayama part: Buy Genuine Toyota 9010510469 (90105-10469) Bolt.
