They are still pliable and in good nick but faded to grey; new ones online are hard to find and stupid money... I know of a cat that takes care of the black vinyl roof on his collector car by using old school black paste wax shoe polish on it. I'm thinking of trying that with mine, your thoughts?
It's a solution called mothers back to Black It works pretty well there are some modern versions of this I am sure The other company McGuire's makes a very similar back to black solution almost in a similar bottle except it's black instead of red and there are others I would give them a whirl they do a pretty good job. I can tell you some funny stories about the shoe polish and all that nonsense there's some people that ride around in the southeast United States that go to independent car lots and they work on landau tops if you remember what those are from the '80s and before and they put on vinyl half roofs they'll clean interiors and restain the carpets and all this kind of stuff and all the work is complete garbage The stuff comes off on your hands and your shoes and the vinyl roof starts to peel and it's hysterical and the guy that used to run this show out of a big old Cadillac like Elvis drove was a little short overweight guy with gray hair He kind of remind me of the guy fiori the cooking show guy
