2008 Prius not responding to key fobs!

    Hi all, I have a bit of an issue:

    A couple days ago after getting into the car, it wouldn't respond at all to the fob for about 10 minutes before suddenly turning on with a system loading notification on the screen.

    Now, it's a reoccurring issue. The fobs can't even lock/unlock the car. I've changed the batteries on both my fobs and no change. All the videos I see online are based around a dead fob battery or a the dashboard lights coming on. The car isn't responding at all to any key. Any advice? Car Batteries have been serviced and all is well.

    Use a meter to measure the voltage of the 12v battery when the car is off. What voltage do you read?

    While you have the voltmeter out, check the voltage of the fob batteries, too.

    When you insert the key fobs into the slot on the panel to start, nothing happens either?

    So you have a red light flashing on the dash in the shape of the key? When you insert your fob that flashing light should stop does it?

    Does the physical key in both the fobs turn the lock on the driver's door?
