    I preach that EVs are different and everyone involved with them needs to learn new skills. One of his better videos discusses using 'fire blankets'. But many of his videos come across as "EEK1 EEK!" and weak on technical details. Regardless, there are enough facts and data to be useful.

    Firefighters have access to online documents for specific approaches to handing hybrids. I have the one for mine. Dismantlers Guide and Emergency Shutoff are the titles of the two I have. Produced by Toyota.

    I would hope they aren't waiting for the jaws of life before trying to get people out of a burning car.

    Most car manufacturers sponsor first responder training for their models. Non electric ones could need it to avoid fuel lines and air bags.
