Ding, ding, ding - that's why it's always better to address the root cause of an issue and not just treat the symptoms. The issue will always come back and bite you on your own dime.
FWIW: Health care is the same way. Patients don't want to make minor adjustments to their lifestyle and choices and ask the doctor for higher doses of their drug of preference to treat the symptoms - not the root cause of the issues at hand. You need to be an active participant to resolve issues.

Getting off my 'soap box' now........

Unfortunately, big medicine is focussed on treating the symptoms ( with follow-up visits) as long as it does not kill the patient.

Cell voltage can be read with any voltmeter. Once there is access to each cell dip the voltmeter leads into two different cells and read how many volts. Or one voltmeter lead onto a terminal and one lead into an available cell. Rinse leads off when finished.
