So then if you pull up with your foot behind the brake pedal do you see the red brake light go out No that won't put the red brake light on. That'll only come down with the brake pedal if the pressure goes down and the beep comes on I do believe so then if you push down on the parking brake and then push down on it again and whip your foot out of the way and let it come slamming up Do you see the brake light flutter when the brake pedal slams up to the top of travel You should see it go off for a second and maybe come back on? If so feel up on the spot that hits the switch that's on the pedal arm maybe they're supposed to be around piece of rubber that's supposed to be stuck through a hole on the arm of the parking brake that slams into the sensor or the switch to turn it off when the pedals up I have seen cars other vehicles that have a rubber pad there when that pad gets deteriorated or falls off the brake arm won't stay on the switch push pin It bounces back off leaving the light on I've seen people tape a dime or a nickel on that land with goop and then be there for 5 years The piece of rubber you're looking for has a center tab on the back of it with a triangular shaped piece that you put against the hold and then you pull it with your finger and that attaches it to the brake lever arm anyway could just be a spacing problem You might be able to adjust that switch like you do the regular pedal switch I don't know Just a thought.
