The passenger side door just doesn’t close tightly on my 2012 Prius. Lots of wind noise, and you can wiggle the door in and out when latched.

There doesn’t seem to be any adjustment available in the striker or latch. Anyone have any tips on how to adjust?

I adjusted mine by "adjusting" the latch with a hammer...it worked great!

Look carefully whether one or the other has bolts from the factory with heads that are conical underneath, replaceable with common bolts flat underneath to allow an adjustment range.

Has the car had any collision or damage that would have changed the position of the door or pillars?

Are the weatherstrips all present and in good condition?

Are the door hinges worn? (Are you able to kind of lift and drop the end of the door when it's open?) I had to change the driver door hinges on my gen 1 at around 15 years or so.

The car was in an accident on that side, so that certainly could be the problem. The little bit of adjustment I got out of the latch did improve things significantly. Good suggestion on swapping the hardware for flat bolts. I'll try that on the latch.
