    Hey!

Above my number plate, the tailgate was falling to bits, apparently this is common for my 2006 model.
So I changed the tailgate and then the button to open the boot was not working, I then bought a new unlocking button assembly from China.

I connected it to this female plug, but it still did not work. :(

I gently tugged the wires and pop! a pink wire just popped out of the plug. The other 3 wires are fine.
Looking at the popped out pink wire and the pins in the plug, I see a sort of green residue, I think the pins/connections are kind of rusting away with age...

Is there somewhere I can buy this plug and attache the wires? If yes, what's it's name?
The other option would be to cut the plugs out and attach the wires from one end to the other of course, but that seems like a dirty solution, I would like to avoid that if possible...

    Thanks!

(The connector plug showing the pins, it has some greet residue which I think means it's kind of rusting out, the loose pink wire hanging out)

    Pins may be missing.
If you can't find them, you can disassemble the connector and solder the pink wire to the pin.

Thanks! Will search for that part number!
As you can see by the pics, I was fidgeting with it in the late evening, now sure how to disassemble it, any tips would be appreciated!

    Edit:
Found it on Aliexpress with your help of the part number! Looks like 2 weeks before it gets here :(
I don't think I will be able to disassemble it, the pins/end of wires seem to be falling apart with that green residue.

Thanks man! Unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the pond in Europe (Sweden) :(
