    Too heavy and immature for me. Maybe a year or two from now. But they obviously built a 'lead sled.'

    Stopped by the local VW Stealership as we saw one going out to dinner this evening. Knowing they'd be closed on the way back home - we took a gander just to see what they wanted to soak us for;

    LOL - and that's after the $7,500 credit for just the rear wheel drive version. That's what it's NOT selling for

    Hopefully she paid way way less, otherwise that's a whole lot of love - as Robert Plant would sing. Wouldn't mind having one either, if the price was right.

    It's 80,000 loonies before sales tax (5-15%).

    I test drove the 4Motion one and it's pretty peppy. It's spacious and a really nice vehicle. But the sudden 15-20% increases in MSRP in Canada is sticker shock for anyone looking for a new vehicle.

    (e.g. a Corolla Hybrid ranges from $30-$39k. A Camry Hybrid is $37-$48k. A Prius Plug-In is $43-$51.5k and a Sienna is $51k - $78k.

    The previous Camry Hybrid XLE topped out at $42k for example. A Corolla Hybrid was in the low $30s (the first price hike of the XSE Hybrid was to $34k. Now it's $39k!!). The last gen Prime topped out at $38k.

    Oh yeah, and Toyota Canada's finance and lease rates are still in the 6-7% range because demand > supply.
