I encountered a major pothole and had a blowout on my front right tire (cannot be repaired). Now I'm driving around with the thin spare. So I need new tires asap, like tomorrow. When I called around to check on availability I found only these two: Cooper Endeavor Sumitomo A/S no other choices unless I wait around for a few days. Do any of you have experience with either of these tires or any other comments/recommendations? Thanks
Buy Michelin and wait. If necessary go to a used tire place and get a tire that fits while you wait. Personally I would consider getting some lower trim 16" wheels and tires and eliminate those low profile 17" tires. You should never get a blowout with a decent sidewall and brand.
We replaced the original 215/50R17 Toyota A20s with 225/50R17 Continentals and have been very pleased with ride, noise, MPG, wear.
