23+ rear led light question

    Hi guys, I’ve noticed lately some Prius models that have the long horizontal, red light that stays on while driving.. is this only for 24-25’ models only? And if so does anyone know of a way to upgrade and make the red light stay on? I’ve uploaded a picture…

    There is a thread on this.

    No, an upgrade is not practical. No one has done that except some guy in Japan, and it cost like $2,000 and a lot of time and work.

    Pre-tarrifs you could do it for about $5-600 in the US but it involved some risks of cracking the plastic. Now I'm not sure if prices have started changing already or not.
