Hello I took my car to get an oil change at the dealership on two times and each time they told me that it was required to change my radiator hose before summer. When I look at the media they provide one picture looks like the regular radiator and the other looks like the inverter radiator…thoughts ? the first picture was for October oil change & the second for Februarys oil change the third picture is a description of the recommended service that is for both
How many miles since last flush? If unknown drain and fill at a minimum. One pic seems to show a crack in one hose - clean them up and inspect.
Thank you for the response, I will be doing a coolant flush asap. Which hose is cracked? I’m having a hard time seeing it. I’ve even wiped off the hoses and used a flashlight to see if I can notice a crack or shadow at multiple angles and I’m having a hard time seeing it. I’m not even sure if it’s the radiator hose or the inverter coolant hose(s). Thank you.
Did you attach the correct photos? The radiator in real life looks completely different than the inverter coolant tank.
Off-topic, but man-oh-man: Toyota really misstepped, not providing a cover for this (ECU?) wiring connector. And it exists too, in Lexus part inventory: Question in engine compartment | PriusChat
