So I couldn't make out the oil level on the dipstick, from the little I could tell it seemed low. I decided to take it to a garage to get it checked (better safe than sorry or so I thought).

They checked for an oil leak (none present). They added some oil and said it was good now.

So off I went and in about ~100 miles of driving (after work) I decided to take a look at the level again and it was overfilled way above the excess mark.

I got my oil pump out to pump out the excess from the dipstick hole as had ordered new oil and filter but would take a few days to arrive. Accidently put the pump the wrong way so blew some air inside before removing about 1L of oil and it was still above the excess mark so just waiting till the new oil arrived instead of risk driving it and cause any further damage.

No bubbles present at all at this point. Just excessive oil reading.

I done the oil change and put oil up to the normal mark, checked and looked all good now and no bubbles.

As I got to work that day ~30 miles checked and looked fine. I checked again today and saw tiny bubbles on some areas of the oil on the dipstick.

Went for a drive about ~20 miles and got home let it sit and no bubbles present now again.

Is this something to worry about? Oil still looks clean from the oil change.

Wonder if maybe I should somehow test the oil or as there are no bubbles now should be fine?
