I've used a bunch of the cheap ones and have 100,000 miles on some and I have one card that has 489,000 on their originals so I run the gamut

Personally I wouldn't pay over $89 a piece for this type of technology

    Tiken, Moog....
Don't buy cheap ones.... They won't last.... Unless you like changing hubs every
    4-5000 miles....

I have a NAPA brand on my front left for 25k miles so far. Turned out the bearing wasn't needed, it was the tire making the noise but I did the work myself and didn't bother putting the original back in. Can't return a installed bearing anyway so I saved it in case it's is ever needed.

I put in a set of SKF in my 2009 about a year ago. If you can get some old stock ones, they're made in Japan. The newer ones are Chinesium. I also put some MOOG on my 2011 a few years ago, and also in my 2009 a few years before that..Once again, I don't have a good feeling about the current (post-2020) ones.

These days, I really don't know.

I've got some reasonably cheap stuff and two or three vehicles that I'm still running most of myself doesn't get sold so I know if they're working. And I won't pay over $89 of bearing so that limits what's available right there I've got some TRQ and some other no name Asian Chinese and whatever and haven't had a problem yet so I'm waiting and we drive the vehicles and they get mileage packed on them pretty good so we'll see and I can change them out quick enough what it really doesn't matter but usually I do wheel bearings struts if possible and links lower ball joint all of that in one fel swoop so I don't. Be doing it again unless there's an accident or something happens like the bearing doesn't last that hasn't happened yet.

I thought Timken was the same as OEM, but I saw some reviews saying they only lasted about a year, so now I'm not sure what to choose besides OEM. anyways thank you all

I'm waiting to have all these problems that everybody's claiming they get a year 6 months 49 days whatever it is I don't know how this is happening and how y'all are doing it or what's going on I have the cheapest bearings practically you can buy from any store in the United States or the world for well most cars I've already told you I won't pay over $89 a pop preferably 49 to 69 so that limits what I can purchase in the whole world right? I have 8 sets. I had the sink and count in my head so I have about eight sets of these bearings from the $39 price point to around 80 bucks a pop they include TRQ brands that have no name and so on and there's nothing wrong with my hearing or feeling yet and so far all these cheap pieces of junk bearings are rolling down the road just fine right regular at 75 miles an hour for 4 and 5-hour trips to go pick up more parts and more Prius cars so there's always that I'm waiting anxiously for these cheap bearings to sell so I can spend the 45 minutes and change them again but so far nada I don't know whether I've got to take the car off the boat ramp and drive in the water or what has to happen to make mine fail there's no way I'm just an outlier sitting in the middle of North Carolina in 100° heat and mine shouldn't be failing so there's always these things so I just can't help but wonder about the stories because I'm on a bunch of other car sites from cars that I have previously owned and there were never these kinds of long drawn-out stories on why you can't use this wheel bearing versus that one and so on and so forth not even on Toyota modification server which has been around a long time but here it's uncanny everybody here is reviewed these bearings and been through this stuff and so on and so forth so there we go I don't know whether there may be some other things going on here in some kind of depth overthinking something I have no idea but it's interesting for sure

Geez Tom, voice-dictation is your super-power, lol.

I do get the gist of it, sometimes helps to read it aloud.

    Yes, TiMken, not tiken.... typo.
I bought some Moog ones from autozone and they lastest 3 year and well over 100,000 miles.
I thought they were bad so I replaced them. But they were fine, it is the tires. Tread is getting low.

And do not buy the trq hubs. They are really cheap!!!! They used to be good years ago.
But they feel like there is no grease in them at all. I went through 3 sets, warrantied, and each set only
lasted 3-4000 miles. I have a set of the new replacement ones still in the box sitting on the pourch....
