Any advice? My older brother cleaned his '24 Camry NAV screen with some window cleaner and it is now murky. Searches are a bit mixed, but most people report rubbing alcohol or Lysol wipes are the cure. Any personal experience? kris
I do know alcohol can clear up fogged shellac, but that would probably help more if your brother's nav screen was from the 1920s or so.
Some ideas here: Damaged/bubbled screen fix? I cleaned with an all-purpose interior cleaner and now it looks all bubbly. I have already removed the screen cover, so it’s not that. Any tips for how to fix this, if possible? : r/CX5
Gorsch, an actual post in FHOP that does not originate with the ruthie mobile. I managed to muck up my clear screen over the speedometer. Have not tried to fix it. Maybe I should
Tried a 50/50 mix of 99 percent rubbing alcohol and 70 percent rubbing alcohol. Which, I suppose, works out to 80 percent? WORKED. I take no responsibility for the results of anyone else trying said formula.
I get 84.5%, which is the same as one solution calculator on the web says, so at least I did it the same way as somebody.
