Unused connector in trunk door

    does anyone know what this connector is for? It looks like from factory installation.

    This is a connector that connects wires from different systems to the car body (-12V)
    You will notice that all the wires in this connector are painted white with a black stripe.

    Yes, all wires are white with black stripes. But they are not connected to anything, the plug is just stand-alone.

    This is the node where the wires connect to each other, one of them connects to the car body.
