OK, I’m not a newbie since I’ve been driving Priuses since the OG 2001 Prius, but this question probably qualifies as a newbie question. I’m cleaning out my 2012 Prius Plug-In in preparation to move to a 2025 Camry XSE Hybrid AWD. What is this piece I found in the Prius? I’m thinking it doesn’t belong to the Prius Plug-In at all but may be the jack handle of my old 2004 Prius. Is that correct? I bought the 2012 after my 2004 was totalled when some guy rear ended it. After the crash I quickly cleaned out everything in the 2004 and I’m thinking this was in there but not where it was supposed to be so I just put it in the 2012. IIRC, the 2004 had a spare tire but the 2012 Plug-In does not.
Wow, I’ve owned this car for over a decade and I don’t think I’ve ever known that. Or maybe I did and just forgot. Thx. I’ll put that tow hook back in the Prius Plug-In.
