To find out if your battery is good, read its internal resistance.
First, we put the battery on the load to reach the full load, this gives a voltage between 12.6 and 12.7 volts.
Next, we put ourselves on the accessory mode ACC (press on start-up without press on the brake).
At this time, you reread the tension, if for example, it gives 12.5 volts, you are 12.6 minus 12.5 and it gives a drop in voltage of 0.1 volt.
Now, you do 0.1 Divide by 6 amps (ACC mode), this gives 0.0166 ohm.
A battery in good condition gives resistance between 0.010 and 0.020 ohm.
If the value gives above 0.02 ohm, such as 0.080 ohm, this means that the battery is sulfatated and scrap.

Note that the Prius Prime battery charger is the DC/DC Converter of 130 Amps.
But this charger gives a very pure DC without impulse.
To load a battery faster, it takes DC with impulses.
An alternators provides this pulse current as well as the intelligent and old chargers, this means that the battery is loaded 2 times faster than with the DC/DC converting a prime prime.
So, easier to end up with a flat battery.

I reported my battery problems to my dealer, but they said the battery tested "in-spec" so they did nothing. I took the car to a different dealer, and they replaced the battery. Same problems existed. Conclusion: it was not the battery.

I've heard about the service bulletin referring to the battery draining out through the charging cable if left plugged in for too long.

I don't know if the problem is common or uncommon, fixable or not fixable, fixed or not fixed. So far, I'm not having such problems.

When the dealer must test the battery, they must load it at high current for 10 minutes before the test.
If your battery is 50% for example, if it does not load the battery before the test, it tests the remaining 50% which is good.
If he loads the battery before the test, he checks the first 50% (from 50% to 100%) and at this time the defective test battery.
Several mechanics do not know how to properly use their testers.

The problem of the service bulletin is that if you leave the charger of the high voltage battery trendy when the load is finished, the 12 volt battery can unload slowly.
This damages the 12 volt battery in the long term and there is a reprogramming that solves the problem.
You just have to disconnect when the load is finished.
If it was made after June 2024, this does not concern you.
When you say that the battery has been replaced and you have the same problems, that they are these problems?

I concluded the problem was due to battery drain from over-the-air updates. I had no tunnel vision focused on the battery. Depending on where you are parked, and the size of the update, the transceiver may consume more power. I once had my battery drained in 2 hours, just parked on a street.

The accessory mode ACC can empty the battery quickly.
If you leave a remote control near or in the vehicle, the battery will further drop, example, the Madame remains her bag with her remote control in the vehicle with you outside.
When you stop the vehicle, it takes up to one hour and a half before all the electronics sleep.
The current remains at 5 amps for a while and decreases in staircases up to 50 milliampère.
This drops on average a battery in good condition by 15 to 20% load, if your battery is sulphated, this is sufficient for the vehicle to start anymore.
The purchase of an intelligent charger is recommended to avoid replacing the 12 volt battery too often.

The battery is not the problem. That's obvious.

It's an engineering flaw. New vehicles consume a lot more power, therefore the battery should have been upgraded.

The Prius Prime battery is small and is not very strong, it has only 45 amp. hours.
For example, if I wash my car and clean the interior with my remote control in my pockets not deactivated, this takes me about 2 hours and the battery drops by 20% of capacity.
When I work near my vehicle now, I still deactivate my remote control.
Do not count on the high voltage battery charger to recharge the 12 volts battery, it makes it that maintain its value.
And when you roll, the load is half slower as with an alternator.
It is easy to scap the 12 volts battery.

I have found the battery drain to be highly variable. I once left my vehicle parked for 5 days and the battery remained at 12.5 volts. I simply don't believe that the remote can drain the battery.
