I am trying to take off the discount brands and install some new 195 65r15 for my car... Currently looking for good name brand tires that are $70-$150 a piece with a quiet, soft ride with decent treadwear since I do some Lyft driving and put around 3k miles a month.

Walmart Douglas and Goodyear Assurances are out of my list, because I never liked them in my previous cars. Didn't feel too well with those, the Douglas got punctured easily on my old Volvo C30 in only a week.

    Continental Truecontact Tour.

Very quiet plush ride and they come with a long tread warranty.

You may struggle to find them under $150, but these are worth it.

General Altimax RT45 is mostly as good and cheaper. (General is Continental's discount brand)
