Caliper sliding pins

    I used the wrong brake grease on the caliper sliding pins on my 2015 Prius and have to regrease my pins again. I believe one pin has the rubber ring on the end. Can somebody tell me if that sliding pin goes on top or the bottom? Thanks for your help!

    What grease did you use?

    Is this front or rear brakes?

    Regarding the rubber ring: are you concerned you mixed them up last time? Attached “might” shoe which pin has ring, can’t recall.

    addendum: it does show ring, this is page one, the fronts, looks to be lower pin:

    And with rear brakes, looks like both pins have ring:
