    Yeah, as per Jonathon's Email:
You should notice the warranty doesn't cover shipping fee and government regulatory fee(tariff) and that is exactly what the replacement program is for, again, it basically covers the shipping fee and a small portion of the tariff.

    and follow up:

We are simply trying to survive bankruptcy at this time, there is nothing else we can do unless you can purchase the replacement program that helps with shipping and tariff. Thank you for your understanding.

I asked for clarification since I assume that means "the OUT OF WARRANTY WARRANTY" (holy nomenclature) doesn't cover shipping and tariff fees? Re-reading it today and it sounds like he's saying/explaining that the "OUT OF WARRANTY WARRANTY" fee is to cover shipping and tariffs related to replacing the old battery.

My issue again is after putting even a GRAND into a new battery that had LESS THAN 15,000 MILES AND TWO YEARS ON IT, I'm still going to have the same if not worse warranty and possibly the same issue later down the line (especially if I'm beta-testing Sodium for Jack and paying retail prices.........no thanks).

At the end of the day there's not much you can do and I think Jack kinda knows he's got people by the collar. He sold people a proprietary system that if a single blade goes bad, the entire pack is "a willing financial hostage" to his warranty schemes. You can't just "buy a new blade". They aren't servicing these and for good reason. Jack can basically choose whatever price he wants to hold you hostage for as long as it's roughly under the cost of a refurbished OEM HVpack (IE getting the car at bare minimum back on the road for sale/usage on a base level).

The only reason I'm stating this out loud is because I think even if Jack HAS HAD good V2 and V2.5 battery packs (doubtful), eventually people owning those packs are going to be stuck either doing advanced electrical diagnostics/repairs (even past the stock OEM blades and balancing/etc) or at worse, scrapping the entire battery due to Jack not even offering replacement blades. I don't think he's repairing or replacing these ever (obviously he wants to distance himself from the LIPOs as much as possible) and well, if you buy his new batteries, there's a good chance the same thing will happen. He can say it won't, but the track record for Nexpower is abysmally bleak.

Not having replacement blades for ANY nexpower battery is a certain reality if Jack keeps using customers as product testers and making reversions every few months on the blades. It's just a shitshow and the batteries should have been recalled immediately.
