The main engine shield is drooping in front of the oil pain.
    • AFAIK, there aren't supposed to be any clips holding it up
    • My guess: as long as the oil change flap was still there, it probably provided some stiffness.... but is long gone.
This is the lowest underbody point on my car, giving it quite poor clearance.

Has anyone implemented a good workable solution?

My initial thought: install a stiff plastic (plexiglas?) bar above the shield, zip tied to the sheild in several places, thus holding it up.

There's GOT to be a better solution than that... I hope!

You seriously should win a prize for most amount of new posts for the same problem.... You know if you do a google search and type in "PriusChat underbody shield alternatives" you could read 20 years worth of people discussing the subject. It would be way more efficient. And then if you still needed to make a new post because you couldn't find an answer you could share links to all the posts you already read, which would make your post way more valuable for people who have this question in the future.
