What is that tune? FOUND IT! Sorcerer's Apprentice - Fantasia | Disney Video YouTube version: Bob Wilson
The channel content grows and changes. I really liked the music for this one as well as appropriate to PriusChat. Bob Wilson
Trivia time (from over 3 decades working there) ..... Disney engineering 15yr service award (go figure); Other departments 15yrs service was the castle. Hierarchy being legal, engineering & administrative - we were looked upon as 2nd tier by folks in entertainment, & entertainment was top tier. So all others bottom tier. I kid you not - Entertainment had unlimited budgets. Even their toilet paper was "spare no expense" ! .
.... as of Y2K? I kid you not - every thing possible - even military grade fasteners/hardware are made there, until we discover someone from purchasing thought it would be a great idea .... that we could get better deals by buying in china only for the stuff to be tested and it fails. No consequences on them for their "heroic" efforts to save 5¢ w/out running it by others. My service awards - all bronze. All the newer china crap? Bronze painted fiberglass w/ a chunk of lead in the base for that authentic 'feel'. Old awards say they're for 'distinguished' service, new service award says for "Magical" service. Why? They fired a bunch of good leaders who were able to successfully sue they had no notice of underperformance. After all, their service awards say distinguished service. LOL Yep - after 37yrs? got lots of ridiculous stories. .
Look into Walt's interests into fairy's. Hense the statue. Goes back strong into Irish folklore and well we' ll leave it at that...
ID Buzz sales are low, but they started at the end of last year for the US. VW ID Buzz sales benefit from stronger West Coast availability, interest in two-tone models There were two or three at the dealer I pass daily.
I'm glad they did the bus in EV and brought it back considering it's "hippy" heritage. Lol I would like to buy but usually steer clear of 1st Gen models to let them fix the quarks. Why I own 2nd Gen Prius. And 2nd gen zed 3 bmw. Theres not always a vast improvement but auto manufacturers usually tend to learn from their mistakes. I would guess from consumers and platforms/enthusiasts like this page... I have produced outsourced manufacturing for Disney of Orlando. Did a lot of contracted work for theatrical stages and even as little certain engineered metal sleeves to quickly change handrails and also stainless handrails to herd the customer lines or block off quickly. They never spared expense. Think was 40k for a few of these sleeves designed by Walt Disney engineering department(they have their own engineering department not outsourced). Then outsourced the work to us after winning bid. Disney also has the only exception in there area for the castle height. No other building has been approved by city to be that high. The theme park also I believe has its own zip code. Like the Pentagon.
Two recalls on the ID.buzz https://www.wsj.com/business/autos/volkswagen-recalls-id-buzz-because-the-back-seat-is-too-big-e9e33d89?st=dYDFFX&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink Mike
I also did contracts for Orange county convention center, House of blues, and Lego land. We built the metal framework under the entrances iconic figures. Over the metal work other contractors did their thing plaster silicone etc. to give the enhanced effects.
Sorry, rained in, and bored. Not trying to spam. Realize the unrelated tangent on Disney. Was reply to their quiz/experiences with Disney. Thought might be relevant and interesting. I guessed wrong. Will refrain from spam. Thanks for keeping in check.
