    Hello,
    I have a 2011 Prius with P Lock Malfunction
    C2300 C2304 C2305 C2306

I replaced the head gasket and as I’m ready to start up the car now I get the codes mentioned above. Only other thing I did is I kind of used it as a parts car before. I borrowed the Integrated Relay, Integration relay and Hybrid Battery. I put everything back from a running car and now I get the P lock Malfunction.

Any suggestions where to start the troubleshooting procedure.
    Thank you

Use a meter and measure the voltage of the 12v battery.

12v battery is good and charged.
Already tried another battery also. I believe the problem might be a wiring issue.

Sounds like you may have some wiring issues or some squished wires or something so you have to go over that very finely and make certain that's what happens when you swipe parts off of a car and then try to come back and put it back into service again it can get really tricky hopefully you were very careful when you remove things and so on so you just have to go back over it there's no special science to it to be honest you just have to go over your work look at your work carefully I mean the car was running when you parked it I'm assuming or something similar so it should be doing the same when you put it back in service if you put the parts back in like they're supposed to be I would hope.

I'm going to trace everything back. It is very odd to see this problem. I've done at least 5 engine rebuilds and about 50 heads and about 10 gen4 to gen3 engine swaps.

Yeah then I guess you should be very familiar with the wiring and also maybe there's just something squashed that slipped your eye or something I mean I had a bunch of problems on startup of a gen 3 with a JDM swap but actually now that I think about it it was actually pretty normal the JDM throttle body didn't work the battery in the car was functional but it was more or less on his last leg the traction battery so on and so forth the air conditioning would run and drain the battery just sitting in the parking lot disconnecting some of this stuff getting everything running and then reattaching it a week later all the problems are gone in the car was running fine till the engine started doing the same thing again as the twozies do oh well
