After blowing the 125A fuse (don't ask), I've had to cut the two clips of the top cover that insert into the fender and have had to deform it to gain access to the fuse in order to replace. While it still clips onto the lower part and provides some protection, water can now easily access the fuses.

I want to buy a new top part. My question is, how hard is it to reinstall? Removing the two clips and unclipping the other bits was extremely tough. Would I have an easier time reinstalling?

Which part did you damage? The top cover or the bottom?

Replacing the entire fuse box is quite a complicated procedure.

Access to some of the fasteners and connectors is difficult.
