Have changed recently on my 08 Prius hatchback base. Lots of front end parts including - rotors, calipers, left front hub assembly, struts, sway bark links, pads. Blead in sequence. Now have vibrations. Only when turning left. Worried about the ecvt for most. Although have done research. Now and also changed tires to winter could be bad tire. Or possibly. Right tire front hub assembly. Or cv joint. Really hoping it's not the evct cause I missed the inverter pump and damaged the synergy drive. Again only left and I just changed left wheel hub assembly. Checked right seems ok no 12 I clock to 6 o clock. Some 3 to 9 but honestly spun wheel in neutral sounds fine.. any thought as to bas tranny are appreciated. I also think maybe a wheel sensor might be bad another issue at same time throwing a trouble shoot issue into the mix.

I doubt it's your transmission you don't say where you are what part of the country you're in or any of that just for weather road quality rust and all that so nobody can really know squat. Unless you're some kind of unique driver I doubt you damaged your transmission unless you spend every minute in the car trying to be Mario and ready or something similar so more than likely all of the parts you have replaced have come up to the sum of a vibration one wheel bearing and not the other and so on and so forth is a recipe for having things like this creep up but hey you're saving a couple of bucks by not changing one or two items so you know kind of par for the course you'll get it you'll figure it out or your front end guy will one of the two sometimes front end problems can be tricky at home in the driveway now they have microphones they strap on to the front end of the car and all kinds of stuff they do drive it down the road and can listen right there at the hub assembly and so on and so forth realizing this stuff is generally not at the home mechanic shop so maybe some more expertise is needed I've changed all those parts on four or five of these Prius sitting here at my house and have never had any of these problems and I generally won't be looking at the transmission too often.

    I'm
Yeah, I think I've hit the point- time for some harness and sensor diagnostics. I know will be cheaper to bring to my guys, than just process of elimination and doing reasearc, buying and swapping parts. Regardless, my Prius has over 200,000 so engineering wise time to replace and maintain a lot of stuff. Hoping to get to 300k+ thinking the old girl "prea" the Prius has it in her. She's definitely getting some well needed TLC. Thanks again for reply. I'm really hoping and doubt is the transmission bearings or electric motors in there, maybe a gear issue abnormal wear or bad tolerances. Just hoping I didn't overheat with the inverter pump being bad or neglect a other issue causing to have damage. Their solid cars and engineered very well. Why I bought my little prea at 170k. I'm second owner and use for same purpose as original owner, for delveries. I usually take it easy on the old girl, It's my first hybrid, therefore still learning a lot. Will keep posted scan findings and where vibration is coming from. At least I can go in and say what I know it's not lol...

No at 200k these cars generally need almost nothing some people have replaced the coil or two in the ignition system an inverter pump is probably been replaced for the inverter system cheap stuff most people haven't even gotten to shocks and struts yet cheap stuff again one Saturday all done and other than that it'll be stuff that you know you want to do something with paint finish the button that doesn't work on the interior stuff like that I've ripped out leather interiors of other cars and put them in my vehicles paid $30 for them stuff like that but generally this is a Corolla you're not going to be spending time working on this car generally speaking that's been my experience with four of them personally and I work on about 10 of them for people in my community in the area of chapel Hill North Carolina. If you replace it with some modern car you better keep it I have two Chevrolet volts that go with my 4 Prius.

I had a 93 Corolla with 180+k on it. The little car had colder a/c than my new dodge magnum ran better too! Lol Then when I sold it, got what I paid for it. So literally kept for a few years to drive in winter(magnum was horrible in snow) got tens of thousands of miles virtually maintenance free.. love my little yota 4 cylinders. Had the old 86, 87, 93 pick ups too. I sold the 86 at 800k+ I'm positive this truck surpassed 1 million miles on original motor and drive. I think that says it all when dealing with yotas 4 cylinders, can honestly say the most reliable care free motors I've ever owned and I've owned lots of types of cars/trucks/ motor types and brands... I have a 93 Corolla LE right now sitting over in the corner it's in beautiful condition it has the nicer seats in it a tackometer 1.8 l 7 AFE sunroof all the bells and whistles is a great car. A guy drove into my driveway one day in this car and said to me he got my name from a friend over at the college Duke University and he wanted to drop that car off and give it to me and he needed a ride to the Toyota dealer to pick up something so I told him sure no problem park it right there I drove him over to Old hickory motors the Toyota dealer helped him pick out a Celica and went back home that car has 436,000 miles on it today and still runs perfectly the green metallic blue colored paint is very faded but the seats are all still in good condition in the sunroof work I haven't driven the car in 5 years I have a friend who comes over sometimes and uses it to run around town this is one of the oldest cars I have left that I've owned all my 74 te27 Corollas and SR5 with flared fenders and all that are long gone.

My uncle used to own, he sold now, but one of the oldest or the oldest I forget. Definitely one of the first Toyota dealerships in this country. He knew they were special little cars right from the beginning. Lees Toyota of Jamaica queens. He sold recently as he got old. But got a pretty penny for it too. Still open to this day under different ownership. My mother and family always got dealer price or great cash deals on trade ins from other people. She always did the Camry's. We've always I guess you could say been a Toyota family lol... My grandfather at the same time did the old Datsun dealership(had to be different siblings rivalry lol). Also, great little cars..
