Hello, I have 2012. During right turns my driver's side CV boot makes a noise as it stretches and contracts. Took wheel off to confirm. No abnormalities seen. Boot in good shape, and no looseness noted anywhere. For the heck of it I sprayed some water on it and moved wheel. When wet cv boot doesn't make noise during movement. Can I spray some kind of lube on it to decrease the noise more permanently? I researched online and could not find an answer to this. Many say if you hear noise, it's time for cv joint replacement. I don't agree yet with this advice, since the noise silences as I make boot moist. Any opinions on this matter is appreciated.
