    Hi All,

What all preventive maintenance have to be done around 150k? My 2009 have ~153k. Replaced the brake actuator, tires, water pump, plugs, throttle body (used), all fluids, inverter pump, belt, filters, display (used unit).

Brake pads looks ok. May be 50% life left. Sway bar link, boot is slightly torn, but not loose.Struts look ok. Radiator and hoses looks ok . No bulging or loose of coolant. Catalytic converter, i have to do it pretty soon.

My teenage son is driving it and i don't want him to stuck on the road. I know hybrid battery is one, but the voltage levels looks fine.

What all items failed around this time frame/mileage in common? Car spend its full life in Texas and no rust. Everything works fine.

You can extend the lifespan of your hybrid battery through a periodic charge and balance, especially if car ever ends up not being used for a significant amount of time. Also with older battery packs you want to clean or replace corroded bus bars, nuts, voltage sensor harness and pins inside ECU. Lastly every 18 months an older battery needs deep cycling, which is a tedious process but does wonders to restore battery capacity back up to 96%.

Maxx Volts and Hybrid Automotive makes products that do this, or you can build one for a hundred dollars in parts: Build Hybrid Battery Maintenance Gear For Under $100 | PriusChat

You're barely broken good drive the car a lot or keep it on a tender for the 12 volt if not and my camper said above every so often you can charge the whole pack cycle it once or twice or if you don't care don't even worry about it just drive it these cars hate sitting
