It's definitely not a great scanner, especially since there is no documentation on what it can do, what the data names mean, etc. But it does read a bunch, if not all, of the Toyota specific codes for each subsystem (keys, airbag, tire sensors, etc.) And it has special functions, for example, I was able to change the reverse beep from continuous to one beep. That's worth the $$$ by itself.

these days i find it best to make your own... for instance, resetting the airbag module after an accident is one of the things I want to do. this way, the one i took out of the car i can clear and keep in the car.. thats one of those incase some accident or other id swap the module and be able to drive it out... especially if up some 4x4 trail and lost of traction causes me to hit the side of the mountain hard enough to deploy bags. id have the module ready to swap in.

You mean the bag modules themselves the white things that inflate are you talking about the things that set them off.? Then you have to also deal with the device that set the airbag off too right doesn't that get sacrificed in the system? I'm not convinced that it's that easy so you'll need your Toyota software with you and all that too while you're out riding the trails yeah pretty
