    Hello friends,
Prius prime 2020 here, driven in salty Canada winter. Is it a good idea to give it anti rust treatment. I have gotten mixed input due to the battery cables and so on.

    any ideas.

mid this topic has been repeated, send it my way and I will erase this one.

    thanks

Wash the underside of your car often before parking it in a garage to dry out before you drive it again. But that's asking alot these days for people who can't afford a big house with a garage.

Worse case scenario is never washing your car and parking on the street where it rarely if ever has a chance to dry out.

As for an anti-rust treatment, I'm not sure how well that will work out... Seems like a thick layer of undercoating paint periodically might be better. Of course the durability of the paint over time has more to do with the person doing the painting then the quality of the paint. And then there's parts of the underside of the car that would be harmed if they got too much paint on them.
