Need Help with engine coolant air bleeding Gen3

    I have first drained and then refilled coolant on engine coolant reservoir, when refilling i unscrewed the air bleed bolt, everything seemed fine but a little suspicious because i’m pretty sure i spilled like a glass or more but after refilling it was full, The next morning I came to the car and I saw that there’s some coolant missing, I was like “great, I will open the lid now, let it run in maintenance mode and when theres 100% no air in it, i’ll fill up the remaining,

    However, after 10 mins of maintenance mode and 100% heat+ fan, my coolant reservoir appears full now, I didnt fill in anything, so I’m assuming theres air in the system and I have no idea how to bleed it out now considering I unscrewed bleed bold when refilling and did the maintenance mode thing... any help will be appreciated

    No don't assume that you were supposed to fill it up to the mark that says it's above the full Mark you fill it up to the top line first and then you run the car and all of that business and then after everything is open circulating heat is working and all of that and you put everything back to the normal settings for the time of year no heat if it's hot out etc and then turn the car off it should be showing at the full mark when everything settles and is right not at the upper Mark that you filled it to but if you didn't do that oh well so here we are. So now you're sitting here on the full mark with the cap off the engine running heat working well life is good top it off and drive everything should be good just keep an eye and look for your overheat light to flash come on whatever it should not you should be good at this point.

    This is the only thing we liked about the generation 3 is it was pretty easy to fill the coolant unlike the generation 2 which can take a good part of an afternoon can take I said

    Did you go through two fan cooling cycles with the reservoir cap off? I feel like it took my car a lot longer than 10 minutes the times that I've done it.

    I don't know where the first thread is so....
    Our good friends @NutzAboutBolts have a G3 coolant change video which IIRC details the post change bleed.
