    Has anyone ever pulled a screen with debris in it? Seem kinda unlikely unless engine oil filter bypass is engaged from it being not replaced after each oil change/clogged up?

    You had a post elsewhere noting an 8mm hex key and I forget maybe with a 3" extension. Finally got around today to removing one at the yard to see what the experience is like. As usually, wondering what the interchange is and found Toyota 15678-21010 Filter, Oil Control Valve is used in the following:

    Vehicle Fitment
    Year Make Model Trim & Engine Important vehicle option details
    2004-2006 Scion xA 4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFE; NCP61L-HHMNKA, NCP61L-HHPNKA
    2004-2006 Scion xB 4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFE; NCP31L-DHMNKA, NCP31L-DHPNKA
    2010-2012 Toyota 4Runner 4 Cyl 2.7L, 6 Cyl 4.0L 1GRFE, 2TRFE;
    2000-2005 Toyota Celica 4 Cyl 1.8L 1ZZFE, 2ZZGE;
    1999-2008 Toyota Corolla CE, LE, S, STD, VE, XR, XRS|4 Cyl 1.8L 1ZZFE, 2ZZGE;
    2000-2005 Toyota Echo 4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFE;
    2000-2005 Toyota MR2 Spyder 4 Cyl 1.8L 1ZZFE;
    2003-2008 Toyota Matrix CE, LE, S, STD, XR, XRS|4 Cyl 1.8L 1ZZFE, 2ZZGE;
    2001-2009 Toyota Prius 4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFXE;
    2012-2019 Toyota Prius C G, R, V|4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFXE;
    2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma Base, Limited, SR5|4 Cyl 2.7L, 6 Cyl 3.5L, 6 Cyl 4.0L 1GRFE, 2GRFKS, 2TRFE;
    2006-2018 Toyota Yaris RS, STD|4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFE;

    For reference in regards to the VVTi Timing Solenoid Toyota 15330-21011 Valve Assy, Camshaft Timing Oil Control:

    Vehicle Fitment
    Year Make Model Trim & Engine Important vehicle option details
    2004-2006 Scion xA 4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFE;
    2004-2006 Scion xB 4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFE;
    2000-2005 Toyota Echo 4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFE;
    2001-2009 Toyota Prius 4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFXE;
    2006-2018 Toyota Yaris RS, STD|4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFE;

    Interestingly, the Prius C uses a Toyota 15330-21030 Valve Assembly, Cam Timing Oil Control:

    Vehicle Fitment
    Year Make Model Trim & Engine Important vehicle option details
    2012-2019 Toyota Prius C G, R, V|4 Cyl 1.5L 1NZFXE;

    Wondering what the differences are between the Prius C and gen 2 Prius VVTi Solenoids?
