Hello, Planning to change the water pump to avoid head gasket issues How do I know which one I can pick to be safe? AISIN WPT 190 is 150+ while AISIN WPT 190-A is 250$+
I've just replaced the impeller in the two that I had that are now blown up and gone but the pumps are still here laying on the ground not sure what the a is about I don't know if I really care. It's a MAG drive type pump so unless something burns up in the housing usually all that's happened is the skin is peeling off the impeller you get a new impeller strip that one whatever and then it'll spin again or a new one will spin in its place the housing usually doesn't get messed up it's the impeller so replace of it what you'd like I guess we're just trying to keep the water moving that's all not too much heavy science about it.
