I found a prius with the inverter pump and thought id take it if they want like 10-20 bucks BUT only f its original (OEM) Aisin or Denso but I dont see any Aisin or Denso stamps on it so wondering if it should show them on the actual pump, if so then I assume its aftermarket and wont take it.

Id want it to carry it as an emergency in the tool bag.

If anyone can confirm this question and even better if they have a photo of where the markings are if any would be greatly appreciated.

They're gray and black I'm not sure that the original had necessarily a mark on it but I can't remember that for a fact and I think the brand new unit I got that begins with the a from Toyota and other places now comes in a box without the metal bracket and I don't think it has any markings on it but I'm not sure I'll have to go and look at it I have a brand new one sitting here. And then there's tons of 12 volt electric water pumps with 5/8 barbs on them aimed in the directions that we need that start at $30 several are used on my Italian scooters I have one of these pumps in one of my Toyota Prius it's been in there for five years now I haven't looked at it in a long time it just works you know kind of like the car that you never have to hear about or see it just does then I haven't replaced any others in the last little while so I haven't installed anymore of these little or scooter water pumps in my other Prius because they haven't failed yet.
