I am a newbie Prius and got the dreaded Triangle of death and code P0a80. I downloaded Dr. Prius and checked the battery voltages from the app. It was obvious it was block 1 giving the main issue. Attached is the readings directly from the app. Do these voltages mean the blocks are good or are they over charging? I just got this car and since i got it the code has been present. The second module has blown and did not run any other diagnostics on the car. Can I replace modules one and two or do i just need to replace the whole battery? I sent 800 on the car and really don't have the money to just replace the battery without causing a huge strain on finances.

Before buying anything, you should do a battery reconditioning process.
I do have the prolong battery deluxe combo, charger and discarger. I am currently doing this process at the moment (may 26, 2025) and I am having an issue with the discharger is showing .000 amps on the discharging cycle, I do not know what that could be? Maybe the discharger is broken, hopefully somebody reads this thread.

Open the discharger and check to see if the small fuse is still good. If I remember correctly, when the fuse blows, the discharger will show .000 amps on the meter.

    Time for a Sodium battery!
Playing wack a mole will only cost you money and time.

Since you are having such issues, not worth it....
