When I found out that the odo didn't turn over to 300K shortly after an oil change,I started using the trip meter and simply added the miles to 299,999. I change my oil every 3-4K miles. Since keeping track of the added mileage, I have about 335K miles on my baby. I am guessing my margin of error is +/- 200 miles.

Wait till the dash not lighting up so no speedo or odometer, the error factor really kicks in then ;) It starts out with only occurring after short trips, then ramps up to not working unless it has sat all day since it was last turned off, to requiring an over night rest ..... to the stage the taxi Prius reached, the rear door seal dislodging causing the door open light to remain lit in the instrument cluster ...... that seemed to be a great fix, as long as we drove the car every day

Daughter's 2007 is at 320,000 and still chugging. Last two oil changes were overlooked and had intervals of 14,000 miles followed by 16,000 miles. Both times was with Mobil1 but man do I have to keep on her. When she was living out of state it wasn't a problem. Somehow it's fallen off her radar.

Daughters can be thus. Ours said one time, the tires on her model 3 were "miracle tires", lasting forever. I thought uhoh, better check this, yup: just about solid wear bars.

That’s what happens when it’s other people’s money that paid for the car.

We are ready to join the 300k club

    1) Did you replace the HV battery pack? Yes, replaced at approximately 270,000
    2) Did you replace the hybrid transaxle fluid? No
    3) Did you replace the brake pads? Yes, over 200k on rear brakes, still wasn’t wore out but hubby got tired of hauling them around
    4) Your lifetime MPG (if available)? Unknown
    5) How often do you change your oil? First 100k, changed between 3 & 5 k. 100-300k, changed every 5k. After 300k, every 10k.
What brand / product did you use? Castro 5/30w full synthetic, high mileage after 100k
    6) How about post a picture of 300,000 miles on ODO?
    7) Are you the original owner? Yes
    8) How many miles under your ownership? Had 21 miles on it when bought new on 6/11/2007 9144F342-11BE-41A6-AD99-DAABB429F025.jpeg 2C306695-65CA-42EF-A18A-D0625288906A.jpeg
    9) Feel free to add anything else you wish to share[/QUOTE]: I love, love my Prius. My husband wants me to look at a new one but just not the same! We bought package 7, so have the leather seats that you can’t get now. So much room front and back AND in the back for suitcases, luggage, rollator Rides great. Still gets great gas mileage- per the car, 43.8 mpg, per calculator last fill up -48.17. 410 miles and 8.51 gal of gas!Good pick up.

Does anyone know how to get around not being able to enter dates past 2024 for keeping track of maintenance? Won’t let us enter past 2024. Thanks!

Yeah I just noticed all three of mine that I'm driving right now are over 300K too I know they were all close but now they're over very boring no changes everything just works replace whatever here and there then they just keep going part of the Corolla family you know if you don't live where cars get eaten alive they can last forever you will certainly get rid of the car out of boredom before much else
