2009 -Just replaced the evaporator in my daughter's car. Ended up with an extra connector I cannot find a home for. Any idea where this might go? It has a rubber tube around this portion of the harness.

Back awY from connector . Most connectors if you pick them up and just drop them they will lay close to where they're supposed to go by the bend in the wire and all that but since the evaporator was out a lot of these may have been pulled straight that's the kind of plug that goes on the back of the power button and so on that type I have a car completely disassembled in a few minutes when the rain slows down I'll go out and look all of those things are sitting there pretty much dangling and connected to switches and the switches are just hanging so I'll probably tell you in a few minutes I literally have to go look but I do know that kind of connector goes on the back of things like the power button and other switch gear

Does the car work normally, day and night, including all the displays, the radio, and the controls on the steering wheel? If so that rules out the shifter, the power button, and the park button. That leaves the little adjuster wheel for the interior lights' brightness, the OBD2 port, the SKS button, and wiring for an HVAC system actuator. At least in positions on the driver's side of the center console.

Maybe hook up an OBD2 reader and see if there are any codes?

Update: Found where that connector went. Park button. Everything was shifted around due to pulling the harness back. Thank you for your help! I am posting a new issue.- Check AC Connector on display screen.
