how change maintenance schedule from 5000 to 7500 miles

    My Prius display notifies me every 5000 miles that I need to perform maintenance. But, according to the maintenance manual, I only need the maintenance every 7500 miles. Can I change the display to reflect that?

    you should change the oil every 5k. ignore the manual on that one.

    the notification cannot be changed

    I don't think Toyota USA has any 7500 maintenance interval:

    I believe you're talking about the miles counter in the dash? I would just reset it when it pops up, otherwise ignore it, and follow the above schedule, by miles/months, whichever comes first. FWIW, Canadian spec Prius don't have this counter, life goes on.

    There's a few extras worth considering:

    Transaxle Fluid change (at least once, sooner than later)
    Brake Fluid Change (30k miles or tri-yearly)
    EGR system clean (every 50k miles)
