My car just did this on Monday. I've swapped out master switches, did the "reset" operation several times (no good), techstream says loss of communication to master switch, checked all fuses (all were good), checked connection at drivers footwell that goes from door to connector, and connector to Body ECU, swapped Body ECU's and all the fuses, and still no lights at the master switch nor any ability to operate other 3 windows from drivers control panel.

Anyone here that has asked for help have found their answer?

Negative. Just learned to live with not controlling the other windows so stopped trying.

I would have kept going but another poster here said this information wouldn't be helpful as everyone has their own problems. That was the last straw in the chase.

    Edit to add:
Here was my own thread where I thought I found the issue.

I had EXACTLY the same problem in my 2010 Prius Gen III. I was *also* having problems with the 12 volt battery - the car wasn't being driven regularly, so the battery would run down over time. Once I got THAT fixed (by running the car for 4hrs without turning the engine off) I tried the window "reset" thing mentioned above. With the 12 volt battery dying, the windows didn't remember where the 'TOP' and 'BOTTOM' positions were, so the reset worked fine.

    BUT!!!

NOTE: Previous posts are INCORRECT - here's the CORRECTED procedure. Reset ALL 4 windows one-at-a-time. When you do it right, the mechanism will make a barely audible "click".

    From each door switch:
    1. Roll the window DOWN. Hold the switch DOWN for 10 seconds.
    2. Roll the window UP. Hold the switch UP for 10 seconds.

    3. Lather, rinse repeat for all 4 windows.
4, THEN try the 'auto-feature' for each window, and lastly
    5. Try the window controls from the driver's side door.
