BITOG is practically owned by HPL now, and it is their promotion site.

HPL blends in Oronite additive packs. TGMO by ExxonMobil uses Infineum additive packs. You can buy the TGMO 0W-8 at the dealer. It would be OK in a Gen 5 Prius, as it is the recommended oil for the new Corolla with virtually the same engine.

Apparently you haven't spent much time on BITOG lately. Valvoline Retore and Protect is the new rage.

No, I no longer visit the site. However, I have been told about the Valvoline Restore & Protect by a member.

I've toyed with the idea of dropping down a grade with either the '17 Prius V or the '23 Prius LE. The only expectation here is to satisfy my curriosity. The '17 recently got a fill of 0w-20 HPL Premium Plus and there is 0w-16 HPL Premium Plus on hand for the '23. Based on the way these vehicles are driven it's a moot point for the next two years
