Have a 2015 Prius C with 134,000 miles. Recently had 1300 repair on emission system. Now needing new brake cylinder and abs controller costing around 2000. Will need new battery at some point. I am not mechanical. In consideration of whether to sell or keep, I am ok with spending 2000 now, 2500 on rebuilt battery hoping for 4 more years, but wondering at 10 years, 133 thousand miles, what other expenses will be upcoming soon. I am inclined to sell, but would appreciate any advice on upcoming expenses if I keep. Any comments or suggestions. stan

That sucks! Luckily my 2013 Prius C with 162,000 miles hasn't had any mechanical problems yet. I am the original owner. All I have done has been regular maintanance and a hybrid battery fan cleaning. Has the hybrid battery fan ever been inspected or cleaned? If the hybrid battery fan stays free of serious lint or debree, the batteries usually last at least 12 years. Hybrids with super high mileage or ones that sit a long time without being driven or in extreme climate tend to go a little faster.
