    Just to emphasize this point, the destruction is slow and gradual. It doesn't happen overnight, but it will happen, like, in one to two years.
    I don't know what you're implying, but they should be well aware to use POE and not PAG oils on vehicles with their electric compressors.

    One other thing, you should only add oil if you know that oil has been lost. During normal evacuation and refilling, oil does not come out of the system. There should be a very specific quantity of oil in the system, and too much oil is as bad as too little. Therefore, using oilless R143a is a relatively safe bet.

    Finally, if your system has a leak, get it fixed. Continually adding refrigerant is not a fix, just environmentally irresponsible.
