Looking for a Skilled Local Gen 2 Prius Mechanic in Syracuse

i may end up getting a rebuilt one from him. but first i am taking the car on monday to a repair shop nearby since they claim to know these cars. will have them load-test the 12v battery and see what else they say.

 

update:
got a rebuilt unit from Texas hybrid battery, put it in and everything seems to be working as they should. my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this thread and i hope the valuable information shared here will benefit someone who may need it.
